KNIFE TRIM MACHINES
Trimmers; sometimes called a Deflasher or Skiver. These machines trim excess flash from molded parts. They can also be used to cut parts to size or to bevel edges. They are able to cut seals to a sharp edge not possible to achieve by molding.
Typical parts manufactured on machines such as these, include dust caps, lip seals, golf grips and piston, transmission or radial shaft seals, among others. Machine cycle times of as low as 3 seconds are possible depending on size, complexity of the part and number of cuts required.

This is a new model of Mitchell trimmer. It is designed to be an economical trimmer with the capability to tilt the cutting head below level. This enables the trimmer to cut upward from below the part. Allowing for a I.D. and O.D. trim to be simultaneous on a larger variety of parts for faster cycle times. Each cutting head is capable of making up to 2 cuts per part.
Spindle speeds, cut positions, etc. are set on the operator friendly touch screen control panel.
