About Us

In 1966, Mitchell Inc. produced it's first rubber cutting machine for manufacturers in the rubber product industry. The first lathe cutter was designed to cut seals and gaskets from extruded rubber tube. Since then Mitchell has introduced several types and many models of machines to cut, trim and grind various types of elastomeric products.

Our machines are used in factories in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Australia, China, India and numerous European countries.

Over the years Mitchell has also designed and manufactured many custom machines for our clients from small bench top to large automated machines.

We are located in Elkhart, Indiana in the heart of the Midwest industrial belt of the United States of America.

A big advantage of Mitchell lathe cutters and knife trimmer machines is their long service life. Many of the earliest built machines are still in operation today.

Another Mitchell advantage — quick response and superb customer service. You will be dealing with the people doing the work, not some remote customer service department. Get the right answers and good service from the right people every time.
